Hello and welcome to Tutor-Duo. I offer online English tutoring over Zoom, both private and in very small class settings. I have a MA in TESOL, with an emphasis in Composition. I bring 39 years of teaching experience ranging from middle school to graduate school, including the numerous educational awards.
Tutoring is where I got my start. Even when teaching full time, I encouraged my students to come to me for extra help. In addition, I worked at the writing lab at several schools helping students one on one.
Everything we do is student centered and friendly focusing on the individual which means that your needs come first. You are not taught in a one format fits all situation. Instead lessons are tailored to you, whether it be writing, speaking, or listening. In addition, all materials are provided with the class in our materials section.
We are happy to teach everyone from true beginners to advanced, from children to senior citizens. Hours can be arranged for your convenience. Also, we offer individual lessons and very small classes.
